We’re catching the Bugler in 2017!
Run and support Easton Area Heritage Day, the event that is put on each year by a group of dedicated volunteers in historic downtown Easton to commemorate the reading of the Declaration of Independence. Easton Area Heritage Day is a 501c(3) non-profit group.
Join us for the second year of this Friday night race July 7 at 7 p.m. Catch the bugler (last year’s winner) over a 4-mile almost out-and- back course along the D&L Heritage Trail and finishing in Scott Park! Race begins in Easton’s Centre Square (use 18 Centre Square for address in GPS).
A $20 registration fee gets you into the race and a pint glass, while supplies last. Sign up price starting June 25 is $25. All registrants 21+ receives a free beer at the finish line! A water stop will be at the 2-mile mark/turn-around point, but personal water is suggested as it is very warm in July.
Finish line party in Scott Park includes awards, music by DJ Brad F. Scott and beer (if you’re 21+). Awards will be given to the first three finishers, as well as the top male and female in the following age groups: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.
Online registration is available at www.pretzelcitysports.com (nominal service fee applies, closes at midnight, the Wednesday before race day) or download the form and snail-mail it in.
Day of sign-ups start at 5:30 p.m. at the start of the race and are $25. Questions? Contact email@example.com.
