Bake’n Bacon
What started with a single food truck and a bold idea has grown into one of the most exciting culinary concepts in the Philadelphia region. Founded in 2019 by Chef Justin Coleman and business partner Kelvin Alexander, Bake’n Bacon set out to do something no one had done before. They aimed to transform bacon from a breakfast staple into the star of an entire menu. Their cleverly crafted offerings bring together a variety of proteins, veggies, housemade jams, sauces, and bold flavors, all woven into gourmet sandwiches, indulgent sweets, and creative sides.
After years of building a loyal following on the festival and food truck circuit, Coleman and Alexander opened South Philadelphia’s first and only bacon inspired brick and mortar restaurant, a testament to their dedication to community and craft. Featured in outlets like the Philadelphia Inquirer, Eater Philly, and Urban Magazine, Bake’n Bacon has become a recognized name across the Southeast PA food scene.
Their participation in past Easton BaconFest events gave them a deep appreciation for this community and they are excited to bring their one-of-a-kind cuisine to Heritage Day. Known as a crowd pleaser at major festivals throughout the region, Bake’n Bacon promises to bring something fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable to the celebration.
