Sons of the American Revolution – Valley Forge Chapter
As America marks the 250th anniversary of its founding, the Valley Forge Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution invites you to explore the Revolutionary history right here in the Lehigh Valley and discover your own place in it.
The SAR is a patriotic, historical, and educational nonprofit dedicated to maintaining and extending the institutions of American freedom, fostering patriotism, and inspiring respect for America’s founding principles. Their exhibit features reproductions of original documents from the Committee of Observation and Inspection that convened in Easton from 1774 to 1777, alongside records of the Northampton County and neighboring counties’ local militia who answered the call to arms. These men helped lay the groundwork for the nation we celebrate today.
