Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association (HCPA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, documenting, and sharing the rich industrial, architectural, and cultural history of Catasauqua, Pennsylvania—home to the nation’s first successful anthracite iron furnace. Through historic preservation projects, educational exhibits, walking tours, archives, and community events, HCPA works to protect the borough’s heritage and inspire appreciation for the people and industries that helped shape the Lehigh Valley and America’s Industrial Revolution.
